Just watched wheeler dealers with that pr*ck mike brewer, he bought a D reg 1.6 Capri Laser bit of a mess tbh and paid 400 quid for it. Needed new control arm bushes, 2 new front wings, fog lights, bumpers and various trim.

When they did the wings they made a right cowboy job of it, instead of drilling out the spot welds like ya supposd to do and removing it he got a angle grinder to it and cut the wing off made a right bloody mess. They didnt fit properly either cause they were non ford panels so he had to butcher them to get em to fit. When he resprayed the wing he used rattle cans to do it and tbh im not surprised the colour match and finish looked crap considering the way he prepd it .

Managed to flog it to some poor ole gal for 700 quid and was adament that it owed him well over a grand

Tbh i was shocked at the way it was all done and couldnt belive the sh*te that was coming out of the guys mouth. Anyone else ever watched this series?? What are over peoples opinions on the series and some of the work carried out?

I recon they get a mate to play the buyer so they don't look too silly when they can't get the money for the cars.

You think the capri was bad, watch the Suzuki 4x4 one! I think they get 1/2 thier money back as it won't pass MOT!

I've seen the Suzuki one as well, if he's a real car dealer you'd think he'd know what he was looking for in the first place, bit embarrassing that one, and then tries to flog it for £500, now who the f00k would ever buy a car for £500 that won't ever pass an MOT cos it rotten?

also last nite he bought a xr2i from a dealer that was part ex, he paid £1000 for it and had little history and no mot

he took it to be mot'd and needed £1200 worth of welding so he put it in the the auctions and it went for £800

funny cos when he was looking round the car he was givin it the big mouth saying he knows what hes looking for with these cars and it was mint so didnt need to test drive it

Yeah ive seen this programme its wank he had a merc 190 cosworth shitty gold on a d reg paid a bout 2.5k for it spent another 2.5k on it for its mot put new suspension and all this bollox reckoned it was the best available in the country and sold it for £3700 took over a grand loss then reckoned it was a slow maket

yeah i posted the other dayabout the posrche they did, i remember the capri totally fucking up the wing i just sprayed my front bumper myself (first time spraying using a spray gun etc) and i did a better job than Ed as for Mike "the Tit" brewer he is such a bellend

Have you seen the 'revved up' program he did? he spent 2k on engine mods and he gained 10bhp and said it was the best mod he had done

Guys you need to remeber that those proggrames are ancient and car prices have changed a little since they were made! Watched them all several times over to much amusement The new series that is on on Tuesday nights isn't much better but it is better
