as above buildin m track engine but wanna loose powersteering pump so wat ford came with zetec, but without power steering pump??

i thought 16v xr2i??

i think they all did, but just dont put the PAS pump on and cut the bracket.

av got a cvh alt braket so i could, thing is i went n got a zetec alternator belt thats a lot shorter than the standard one i took off? and one i got was for 16 xr2i??

ah, pm lewis B19TRB as he used a cvh alt bracket on his ZT, he should know what belt it was.

I think the belt is from some of the 1800 escorts, if you have the belt, just get any old zetec engine get rid of the power steering pump and the zetec alternator bracket, use a MK4 CVH or Fiesta MK3 alternator bracket. It bolts on OK, just need to swap belt pulleys over from CVH to Zetec ( CVH is V belt, Zetec is grooved)

Scott R, think thats wat am gona go for. got all the cvh bits lyin bout from old engine so should be a cost free solution!!!!
