I dont rate cometic, had one blowing between bores for some time, on a freshley skimmed head and a reletively recently checked block, with NO overheting problems when the previous gasket failed... In your situation go for the late ECos item, unless you can get someone like Karl for instance to check block flatness, if so go for a GENUINE WRC Item... though they come in at the wrong side of 400 quid lol ... hopefuly they are worth it

doo the ford cam is a very good cam and for what ya turbo is would really suit it better ya might find, lots of people find the bd10's a little laggy compared to a standard set,,,,,,,,,, might be worth you getting some advice ( as mine aint worth shit )

jobs going cool, cheers for asking,,,,,,,,,,,, btw dont look at the price for a escos headgasket at work,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 320 quid , use PJmotorsport, cheepest arround

ask a few about the bd10 cams on cossies and ya turbo, ya might find it alittle more quicker without em , dont quote me just going on hear say and the fact my car was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo laggy,, infact it only came on boost last week

I know the price on the head sets luckly i got 2 full sets that where going to be binned a few years back.

All the boxes where damaged and they had a few gaskets missing but got more than 1 set and a load left for spares

there are ford cams but got BD10 stamp on them??

revs great TBH and got no lag remember i am running around 24 holding 22psi.

As the later T28 escorts can not run much boost i think because of fuel probs?

I see if anyone posts on here about if not i put up a new post

Glad your enjoy your job i still do and i been doing it 15 years

therre reprofiled cams from originals,,, its cheeper than using blanks

the turbo would run out of steam whe the cams are comming on form though, again dont quote me, just what i recall reading, hence why im going back to standard to test em out and then i can confirm, but then supose the rest of ya engine has been built arround em so,,,,,,,,,,, i duno, maybe ya need a bigger turbo or a standard engine aswell for the tiny turbo

not sure i could hack 15 years of it tbh, too many people have been there for ages and so ya never feel lik one of them as such

but been told would be better lower down with a t3 and standard cams ,,,,,,,, hence the test im gonna do

Hi mate.......YB1261 is a std head gasket.......what you need is either a YBO611(commonly known as group A)or a multilayer WRC.....Ive seen the WRC gaskets for as little as £310 so look around....Tiff ran one on his 3DR cossie and that never gave him a problem and he was running fairly fruity boost levels iirc...
