Same spec engine in my Dolomite
But i only rev mine to 8300

 

wow bet that rips where does the extra 700 rpm come from and what spec is your engine.

 

Rev limited to 8800rpm though I try to change before 8500 if possible. Spec is quite comprehensive but is being rebuilt for next year over the winter. Here's a pic of the engine bay from around 6 months ago.

Also to add that the few differences between Daz's and my engine will be addressed over the next few months so come next year both engines will be virtually identical.

That is the most serious turbo damper I have ever seen!
Great work though, that engine is beautifull, and the car is so subtle yet stands out, if I am to have a cossie, please let it look like that.

I think that is actually a support and not actually a damper...

 

damper/support it does the same thing

 

that turbo hanger is huge

 

 

As Daz says, its a turbo support to hold the weight of the turbo and give the tubular exhaust manifold an easier time!

I don;t give details on the wheels as it took Jonno and I over 6 months to have them made and the chances of another set are more remote than Gary Glitter making a come back.
