No its a shorter stroke steel crank, but the oil pump is std pinto with uprated spring to raise pressure to 65psi when hot. Allthough I personally have'nt teste one to such rpm's I believe the std pump is capable to 10,000rpm without any cavitation problems, which is one of the benefits of a small rotor diameter compared to the crank driven type as used on cvh's etc.

Karl's one of the most respected Cosworth Tuners there is, and his attenetion to detail is only matched by a very few engine builders. Just do what he recomends and nothing else, and you'll be well happy...................Just like me
To sum him up.......
Great Guy
Very Technical
No Bullshit
The price he gives is the price you pay
Damned hard to get hold of though.....
But worth the wait
Car goes on the rollers next week...... So all the speculation will end

I have always wondered about the performance of this car, I have heard some things about the capacity of the engine and also some talk of performance figures that blew my mind, however this has not come from Karl and think its up to him to publish figures if he see's fit.
But brilliant car and superb engineering.

Figures from calibrated Stack dash:
0 - 60 - 5.2
0 - 100 - 8.6
0 - 150 - 14.4
Rev limited to around 192mph in 5th due to chosen box and diff ratios.
People can knock these times all they like but these are the best times I had over the last two weeks whilst testing the latest setup. I'm geared for 67mph in 1st gear but somehow never manage to lay the power down but as I develop the suspension setup Im sure it will improve with time.

Very impressive, as is the way you dont seem to feel the need to brag and gloat over bhp figures.
However it does make a good testiment to your talents as a tuner and engine builder
