Got renewal quote from HIC today

Default Got renewal quote from HIC today

Policy was originally on a L reg granada scorpio 2.0 AI was about £450. Changed over a few months go mid policy to a V reg Mondeo Ghia X 2.5 V6 valued at £1750.

renewal is £2090 TPFT!!!

Couldnt believe it! by the time its due I'll be 25 and have dropped from 9pts to 6pts!

Im only paying £720 on the cossie!

I have a P reg mondy V6 ghia X and only pay 250 quid tpf and theft !!

try first direct m8 that who I insure the mondy through.

HIC were giving superb prices couple of years ago but when i changed car earlier this year they asked more than double (2 groups higher).

Norwich Union were best for me this time round.

I know they've been taken over and since then its all gone down hill.

I had the same with the cossie with them. It was over a grand for the cossie while their underwriter is highway. I got it for £700 with adrian flux which is still through highway!

my brother had a dr10 and 4 accidents and still got some quotes from there!

give it a go, it searches thru about 60 companies in one go

HIC arn't as competitive on newer cars I dont think.....

They were resonable on my M reg mondeo and L reg granada when I had them. but that was before the take over.

try getting a quote from HIC as new business and i bet you it will be cheaper than your renewal

The hic gave me great prices when i just started with rs turbo`s but i moved to bonncaster when i got my cossy, 23 years old 4 years no claims 3pft £697
