Default car security question

just bought a car

but i need an immobiliser for the insurance, it's got a clifford 1
on there but i have no certificate of fitting which is what the insurance company wants.

can i go somewhere which installs arlarms and get them to check it and give me a new certificate or have i got to get a new immobiliser fitted???

any ideas post em up

Some companies will issue a certificate to you but will want to inspect it first. They normally charge around £35 to do this.

I cant issue certificate in these kind of circumstances unfortunately but if you get stuck i can fit an insurance approved immobiliser with certificate for £100 all in.
