Steven,
Are you trying to imply that Gareth still holds the lap records for these tracks by any chance ?

Steven RW, the cars used VASTLY different tyres mate Scotty had to use control road tyres (DO1J)

Gareth used Slicks the size of Wales in his series

I'm not commenting on who would be quicker, just letting you know the HUGE differences between the series regs.

Scottys is also a modded Rallycar, where as Gareths is a purpose built racer. Gareth also has vastly more circuit experience where as Scotty is obviously a Rallyboy at heart

Both great cars and drivers

Porkie,

Fair play. So sounds like the only comparison can be made on the same day.

Scotty's "do or die" tendancies also stand him in good stead . "I WILL make this corner if it's the LAST thing I do...." .

anyone know if its possible to find on the web any lap times for old races?

particularly interested in results for the TVR tuscan challenge and GT series to get an idea of lap times as I used to most of these. but was too long ago to remember! lol
