Wouldn't put PP8s in a lwanmower. Seen far too many dropped tips.........

Stick to the 071s that Stu will probably recommend.

Sorry - just comes from experience of seeing a few go wrong on those plugs.

Think the 071s are cheap as chips anyway..........

but they will be fine (pp8's).....

if everyone stopped using plugs that failed, you not have a plug to use

Spiky - why risk it?

I personally know of five cars that have failed on those plugs, and none that have failed on the right ones

So maybe you were lucky?

Like I said, I know 5 cars that have dropped tips on those plugs, and I wouldn't chance it.

Thousands? Don't be so bloody stupid.

If 1 drops a tip, it's 1 too many.

How many have dropped on 071s? Or 601s when they were readily available?

Big difference between a plug that doesn't spark well, and one that isn't the right temperature range for the engine, and drops a molten tip through the piston!

Still, I'd take Spiky's advice, as he's clearly the all knowing cossie guru Be sure to thank him though

Steve -I know what you were going to say - stage 3 etc, and then it would be the wrong plug, but I have worked in this industry for a few years and seen plenty that most people haven't got the first idea about.

I have no problem recomending PP8s on your stage 1 Hun. PP8s fail due to excess load or temperature... lean mixtures generally speaking, but they are still my favourite stage 1 plug. And the rest of the comments im not going to argue with cos im too busy
