turns out my front suspesion (gaz coilovers) were FUCKED

i now have new ones on there (with softer springs, now running 250f/150r) t a sensible ride height and OH MY GOD they transform the car! i can now drive down roads that arent racetrack style flat! it's bliss!

new discs mean ive now got no vibration when braking the bumper isnt half hanging off the badgeds and strips arent all corroded and mingin, there's no hole in the door anymore, got the tracking done so now the steering wheel points straight and doesnt grab me all over the road

car's now been painted so not a rusty piece of sh*t

i tell ya i've fallen in love with it all over again!

now all thats left is to wash it (gonna take it down the hand car wash, i dont do it myself ) and it'll look MINT and drive MINT

what was wrong with your Gaz coilovers Jim? Mine isnt happy unless im on racetrack style flat road either I have brand new Gaz on mine.

DD... supplied springs are WAY too hard, go for lower poundage (mine's still harder than konis so im told and theyre SOFT for gaz!) but the fact both my front shocks died didnt help

wheels were due to be refurbed a few weeks ago, but we had otehr problems with the car, theyll probably be going in straight after ND... the wheels DEFFO need doing, and should make the car look lovely

 

Wont be doing it at nat day lol, but if ya want pop it down tomorrow or friday evening at 6pm and I will do it, shouldnt take too long.
