wait till Autosport International in January Alex, allways some good deals, If you were 6'2"+ I'd sell you my old suit as I'm changing it soon. The Addidas place on the retail park does replica boots.
This is what you want,Beccas helmet, proper carbon goodness with a certain Mr Petter Solberg as the former owner.

Alex, everyone I've spoken to about buying a helmet recommends actually trying them for real, so don't buy online or ebay, or at least, not until you have found one that fits and you're shopping for best price.

If you find anyone local in berks/oxon, let me know as I am looking for a couple of helmets too

What I want to know is, what are the differences between all the homologation standards, FIA, BS (some are F, A/F, etc...), Bell, ECER, etc...

Apparently, there are no specific requirements for public track days, but I'd like to know how the different standards compare. Is a bike lid better overall because of the exposure riders have, etc... ?

I appreciate you can never spend enough on safety, but given the choice between two helmets, which homologation do you choose at the same price point ?

Also, I am thinking about getting an open face one because you get a wider field of vision, pros and cons anyone ?

A closed face helmet dosn't offer much less field of view vision actually.

Its all about shell construction and impact tests.

A BS kitemarked helmet is fine for trackdays.
