Hi all
Just thought I would let you know that me and the missus have arrived in Australia as a few people have been talking about it on here. Cannot recommend Singapore Airlines highly enough. It is my 4th trip to oz with them and they are fantastic. Full audio and video on demand so no waiting for the set movie times. Game Boy color also built in and PC games along with comedies etc. Definately helps pass the time.
Thats my sales pitch over, oh and they are one of the cheapest as well out there.
If any one needs any info etc about oz, travelling here etc just drop me a PM and I will see what I can sort/find out.
I will still be on here most days but only dial up at the mo until we get a house sorted.

cyprus is my backup place (and like Oz, the car can come) and the added bonus there is very rich family to mooch off
always fancied it but never looked into it seriously, il wait till someone gets pregnant and wants CSA payments, then il do a runner

You dont have Melbourne on your list! Yuo have to come to Melbourne for the food, people, city. Make sure you go to the Gold Coast for a good day or two when you are in Brisbane, it is about an hour south. There is also Seaworld, Movieworld and Dreamworld on the Gold Coast along with the Versace hotel. Also a place called Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary about an hour or so inland where you can have your pic taken with a Koala, hand feed the kangaroos etc in the same enclosure. Just typical aussie things. Melbourne I could recommend some places too.
spent a week in Cairns... but only because the hostel we were staying at was such a good laugh
For me, the best poart of the whole East Coast was either Surfers Paradise or Byron Bay.. both have their advantages
Getting real bored of Sydney at the moment, as was used to staying in one place for no longer than a week
but been in Sydney for over 2 months.. still good but like a warm London
Soon have enough cash to move on tho.. so all good

Cairns is the most backward town i have ever had the miss fortune of going to, i was only there 1 1/2days and it did absolutly nothing for me on first impressions

Surfers is great and a really good central location to see a lot of the area. We drove through Byron Bay on the way up there and it looked busy with young people but couldnt stop as we had to get to Surfers.
