But Im blaming you for not doing a new thread as its more important than being shoved in with a Club 18-65 Holiday

Could probably knock 15 seconds straight off that with a clear track.
If everyone has to do it in those conditions then I guess its fair!

WOW pleased its back with a Porsche the last 2 holders were not really Road cars in my opinion. Mind you that doesn't exactly look ideal to pop down to Tescos in either

Awesome video.

Also goes to show how accurate GT4 recreation of the ring is.

Absoultely awesome stuff.

Agree with porkie too, its nice to see the ring record held by a porche, i always feel thats where it belongs for some reason.

It will never belong to anything that i would really call a roadcar ever again though, big difference between road legal and road car really!

couldnt agree more

was chatting with a mate last night, hes been in a "bikes are faster than cars" argument with someone else (my mate is cars btw)

imo people get the perception that cos bikes are incredibly fast as standard on the road compared to standard road cars that when both modified the same stands, clearly not!!!!

which was nice

Indeed you can, but I doubt you can modify one to be faster than one of these mental cars around the Ring

Bike v Car comes down to one thing on the ring (or any track) Corner Speed.

Incidentally I found this link on a BIKE website. Consensus was that it was great. We're hoping some of the Road Racers will have a go, try and drop the record a lot. Farquhar, Anstey etc are just loony enough to give it a go

Heres a couple of my current fav pics.

Ryan won the Championship last year on his 10R

Macau's a blue riband event. Heres Steve Plater

I have no idea who this is, but I LOVE the pic

Rich, I disagree. Corner speeds are one thing but cars can also stop alot faster than bikes.

cool pics by the way
