Default Evo 9 Questions

How easy are these to tune?

My mate got an FQ320 and says its gonna be 450bhp next week with anti lag etc, just wondering if they are easy to tune? what you would do to it, and is 450bhp getable?

I take it as its being an imported evo 9 then? Seeing as the evo 9 doesn't get released in the Uk till september this year.

I'd be surprised if he is going as far as 450bhp. AFAIK that would require alot more than just an ECU upgrade. Gary @ APT has a full Stainless Exhaust including Downpipe, Air Filter, ARP Big End Bolts and a Motec M800 ECU running 1.6 Bar and his is around 360-370bhp we think. More than that would surely require a bigger Turbo/Intercooler etc and would cost ŁŁŁŁ's. Maybe he is going that far??

Its a UK Model and its an Evo 9 - So he must have one of the first in the UK.

From my limited knowledge of Evos, 450 is easy on standard internals but not on standard turbo, people normally swap to something like a GT3071.82 at that level
