ive got an XDA2 with tomtom.

the quality of the GPS receiver makes a HUGE difference, i had a cheap ebay oe and it was RUBBISH. now ive got a good one and it's EXCELENT

i have trouble with the POIs (speed cameras, petrol stations etc) crashing it, but aparently theres a patch due soon

I got the Tom Tom 300 and it works a treat.

No issues like Jim with the POI's and it gives you plenty of time for junctions.

Using Yoda as the voice for navigation is quite comical too... not as comical as Ozzy Osborne in full flow.

Have Tom Tom 3 on my iPaq 4150, it's worth every penny

especially when it has comedy moments and doesn't quite know what's going on
My favourite quote when i was on a long straight road, with no turn offs (in a computerized female voice):
In 300 yards.. go straight on"
