Knocking / juddering noise at front??

Knocking / juddering noise at front??
Steering vibrates when driving and is very heavy. When braking the wheel judders and i can feel a knocking through the pedals which i'm assuming is warped discs 
But sometimes i can feel a similar knock / judder when turning or easing off the gas (i.e. not braking) and wondered what it could be?
I know it's a bit vague but any thoughts??
