I use Zymol and it is fantastic, you dont have to spend thousands on it, one of my glaze's was Ł60 and all the bits and bobs you need to prepare the car are about the same again-although you can pay upto Ł5820 for one of their glazes -I shit you not!!!!
If you really cherish your car it is the stuff for you
I have tried Meguiars gold class and it was very good too

Meguires gold class is what i used, its about Ł15 from halfords BUT you hardly use any due to the fantastic applicator it comes with, 1x drop about the size of 1 pence will do a panel and it leaves no dust what so ever

Not bank breaking but if you do the proper prep as well with all the other stuff it will come to some cash.

Do any of you use polish on your wheels?

I've used the Ultra Deep Shine as i also got it free and it is very good imho even though i used it on a light colour car.

Zymol is the ultimate in waxes. Although I'm too tight to buy the Ł11 bottle of there cheapest (which is fantastic) let alone Ł60.
