certain ones you can silence the siren , think its cliffords, you may have inadvertantly pressed the buttons in a way thus disabling the siren chappy

There is no sound coming from the siren at all. It usually beeps when disarmed and armed, but nothing.

When you open the door you can here the quiet beep inside the car still though coming from somewhere

it is possible to program the alarm to not chirp whilst arming/disarming but very much doubt this would be done by accident Have you tried setting the actual alarm off?

Pm me the model number of the alarm Tiff.

It'll annoy tiff tho if he wakes up to no 3dr

sounds like a knackered siren m8, any way u can get to the brain just to make sure its not come unplugged?

get a multimeter on the 2 cables going to the siren and see if there is voltage when the siren is "supposed" to be going off?
