Holding boost shouldn't be a problem because of the boost controller, but I see what you are saying. I have a -34 now, but it needs to be modified, so might aswell buy a new one.

Would a -34 make it more laggy?

Remember one thing, if you run a -34, the minimum Boost that you will be able to run (regardless of Boost Controller) is about 18psi. Although I am sure yours will never see a setting that low.

Tony, give Stu a buzz and ask his advice on them
We went for a -34 on his advice, swayed us towards it anyway, very happy with it 2 years down the road

Im too busy to ring people up and ask about actuators, that's just going to far. I shall leave that to my engine builder to decide

LOL @ 18psi... Yeah, for running in maybe

I did a load of tests on my old S2 with this. Lowest you can run with the -34 is 16psi and its alot more sudden coming on boost. I'd stick with a -31 for the smoother delivery and ability to run 2 stage boost with a low (sub 10psi setting) boost setting for wet weather where you can still use WOT.

Keith, I doubt Tony would ever go for 10psi

We are talking about his car, not what can be done, but what DOES he want

As morto says, -34 rocks, I love that kick lol
