Default Cliffnet wizard...

does anyone use cliffnet wizard ? the clifford alarm program.

cant get mine to work my laptop hasnt got a serial port so i've had to get a usb to serial lead. does anyone else do it this way??

if so what driver are you using ??

Thanks for reminding me, I'm STILL waiting for the lead to be sent out......apparently, Clifford are in some form of legal argument about the proper cable, so they're not supplying them at the moment.

i had it on my evo 6 with a concept 600, good bit of kit, but it only ran under wnidows 95 IIRC

sorted it ! ! ! went through loads of drivers and finally found one that works

right if anyone needs to know what driver just email or pm me and i'll tell you how to do it. laptops is running xp and works perfectly

I use the Cliffnet Wizard. We have the new G5 version and the older G4 Version. Although I can use the new version on my Concept 600 if I want, I actually prefer the old version as you can carry out adjustment of the Proximity Sensors with it.

Luckily we have an old Toshiba Satellite that runs Windows 98 and has a Serial Port.

So you need Win9x to adjust the proximity sensors? Wonderful......time to get some form of virtual-server software installed on my laptop, then, so I can run Win98SE in memory...

No, its the older Wizard you need AFAIK.
