Im having a real bad run with this new cossie i have purchased, after 2 days of ownership the battery was flat as a pancake so go and purchase a new 1 now that is totally dead????

Have something drawing current from it but i wonder what??

Car is booked in on Saturday afternoon after i finish work to look at alarm and intellistart but to be honest think im going to get a new alarm so what do you guys advise quiet like the vipers with the lcd display????

more than like that bloody alarm mate lol, more so the central locking, could be other things thow, boost gauge, amp (if not wired right) or a few other things on yours, will be a drawen out process of doing what mechanic28 said, you or the alarm shop can do it
get them to cheek all add on's to the car when thay sort the alarm thow mate, just to be sure its all good as i could only cheek so much without pulling half the car apart

Why have you jumped to the conclusion thats its the alarm at fault? Reckon this guy from clifford is just trying to get a sale out of you fella, new models are brought out all the time so its unsirprising you have an old version. Sounds more like a alternator fault if anything, get a multimeter on it, it will give you a good idea of whats going on.

Get a good auto electrician on the case. I was having problems with my old Bm'er 740. If you left it for a day the battery went flat. Thought the battery was duff so changed that, it still done it. It ended up been the fan motor was still going all the time and the car wouldn't go into sleep mode. It cost me Ł75 to get it all done and then it was back to been as good as new and back to wasting money on fuel

Honestly i can say without 666 finding a few shall we say problems (not going to delv into them) then the car would of probably caught fire.

Got a guy looking at it Saturday and not charging me going to give me his honest opinion and he has been recommended by a few friends who have had work completed by him and are totally satisfied.

The alarm is 6 years old been installed in a silly place where a thief could just pull it, hmmmmm dont realy want that.

Will update everyone on Saturday
