as above, my mate had a rebuild on his saph cossie from a well known company!!
all good!!
well after about 3 months and only a few miles put on the engine, he decides to go see his sister down south!! well there was a bit of traffic and we were crawling at about 40/50 mph on the m25 towards jnt12,
all of a suddern the cossie cuts out, the engine dead as a pancake. we manage to pull to the hard shoulder at this time i said it seems the cambelt had snaped as thats wat happent to my old calibra. but as soon as the bonnet was lifted there it was!!!!
cambelt slack as anything then looking further the top right-hand pully had come off!!!
the pully ended up wedged between the intercoller and a hose
the bolt near the battery!!!
well when we managed to get it back home he called the company where he had it re-built and they said bring it in straight away as that should never happen no matter wat!! once their, the person found out that 8valves had been bent and he said dont worry it be fine!!
well he kept his word and the next day all was back together!!!
wat had happend is that as the bolt was painted it didnt bite into the block and worked its self loose.
i would like to say thank you to the company as they sorted it no questions asked!!
just wondering how many so called companys would act as quick as this.
WELL THUMBS UP TO ENGINE ADVANTAGES AND PAUL HIMSELF!!
Wat a top bloke.

know what you mean.
as soon as we picked it up the day after Paul said he had to do it asap as he was busy and needed the room but the main reason was because it would have looked bad for the company.
he's a top bloke and knows his stuff!!

Cheers Phil.
he needed some good luck with his car.
he got it about this time last year. after a few months the exhaust went, then after that the turbo was nackerd so had to get a new turbo. then a few weeks after that he found out that the engine was crap and the best thing was an engine rebuild. so out come the cash
Engine Advantages done a good job.
they done it in good time, sprayed the top a nice blue/move
and managed to get just over 280bhp out of it!! not bad for a stage 1

Oh ok ,
Well without going into the whole sharade
A customer asked Paul to fit and map a GT35 Turbo set up on his cossie which I believe Paul agreed to do but had no real experience with an external set up at the time .
There was some issues and the customer ended going elsewhere , news of this ended up on the PF grapevine and then Im sure you can guess the rest .
I do believe the issue was fully sorted between Paul and the customer and Paul learned a valuable lesson about customer service which IMO after reading this thread is a credit to him
