Default actuator length...???

Im swapping an engine over and today i went to put the actuator (from my old 2wd) turbo onto the new 4x4 one......its waaaaay too small.

Im gonna get a -31 actuator this week, but wondered if it will be longer or whether il need a 4x4 actuator for the longer rod (the bit that hooks over the wastegate valve??)

Stu @MSD does -31 actuators to specifically suit 2wd or 4x4 with the correct rod length.
2wd has (as you found!) a shorter rod than 4x4 - traditionally Garrett -31's have been the 2wd/RST type with the shorter rod, and you could get an extension kit to fit them on 4x4. Alternatively you can get longer turnbuckles ( the part with the hole in ) or as said, Stu does specific versions to suit the application.
