If you bought a box tranny and took box off back and flat bed it to carry a car (That is within the vans weight limit) Is there any regs you have to abide to or sva tests etc?? Cant see why there would be but someone who works for a recovery co said you have to Would you be able to lenghten also or not?

Email the DVLA is the best bet that way you'll get the right answer instead of a load of people teling you the wrong info/theorys

Danny, as long as it's under 3500kg gross weight then there is no problem with operators liscence and such like....
