Whats needed to 4x4 a 3dr?
Looking into options for bringing the 3dr back to life
What exactley is needed to 4x4 it?
What box,diffs would be needed for 400bhp?
Cost?
etc etc

basically the whole front end and box from a 4x4,plus the sump and some fabrication to the transmission tunnel.

standard will handle 400BHP if rebuilt properly
I did a full season of Hillclimbing on mine, lots of full throttle starts and other people said it wouldn't last, if it built properly it WILL last

Don't forget the gearbox tunnel will need a bit od modding so the diff and tthe front prop will fit.
Nothing a big hammer will not sort.
Need a mount aswell for the gearbox,slightly different place to the 2wd one.

if your going to use your engine then all you would need is
4x4 sump
front diff
driveshafts
4x4 cradle maybe rack
front prop
4x4 gearbox
rear prop
also modifications to the gearbox tunnel where the transfer box will sit and also to front chassis legs, half moons need to be cut out for the front driveshafts

Don't forget in addition to above list you will need 4X4 front hubs, struts and brakes as your 2wd brakes wont fit the 4X4 setup.

if your mechanically minded then its very straight forward to do
if not then good be quite expensive as theres a lot to change over

im sure theres a repyuable tuner that can do it around by you or brum ways
maybe reyland or or zoo motorsport in brum
at least you know its done right
