is ther any down side on front mount intercooler. i no the give more lag but other than that is ther any thing else

You will nearly always get a pressure drop from fitting a larger cooler be it front mounted or not. It's possible you *may* have engine cooling problems if you have an overly large and thick cooler sitting in front of your rad.

Some people talk of higher water temps if its for an S2 and it obscures the rad.

Translation:

Sum peepel tork ov hi-er warter temps if for an S2 and it obskures the rad - just kidding

think lag, pressure drop is due to either massive increase in capacity from previous item, but also the core and end tank consturction is vital.

Im currently looking into what i could use for my car.
