Default Help getting head off....

Had a go at getting the head off my mates FRST today and I managed to break 2 8mm allen key heads for my ratchet...

The head gasket had been leaking so I think the water has got into the threads and started rusting them...

Anyone got any ideas or tips on how I'm gonna get these out?

I think Halfords are getting a bit pissed off with me bringing the allen keys back for a replacement every 10 mins

Have you sprayed some plus gas or wd40 on them. Try tightening them a little and then udo themm or get yourself an airgun and undo them

Which allen bolts are you trying to undo?
There should be ten 13 or 14mm (Can't remember which ) headed bolts.
The two allen bolts in the middle of the head don't need to come out

The head bolts that were used on this engine have got an allen key head rather than a hex head (would have been easier if they didn't ) and they're non stretch bolts so theres no give in them when I'm trying to undo them
