Tick over is bang on, car is so much better than on the greys...
I know thats going to be down to the map as much as the injectors but as its a very simular map off boost then the injectors must really be that much better by design

Stu had greys running perfectly from what he was posting on here (lambda of 0.99) so i dont see how you can really get any better than that, or werent yours mapped right at idle etc in the first place?
Either way, glad its all sorted now
You taking it to the ring in september, be good to see it in the flesh

Chip - was nothing wrong with the grey's - the new ones are just better. Would have passed the MOT.....
Nothing was sorted, as nothing was broke.
As for the closed Lamda - what has that got to do with anything ?
These are just better.

These new ones are better than the grey's - why is that so difficult to understand....

Better in what way is what i mean mate?
As in that you actually notice while driving.
Im aware of all the technical differences, just wondered where in the rpm range etc you could feel a difference though, as from what i understand from Stu its acutally possible to get the greys to do EXACTLY what you want them to in terms of fuel delivery all over the rev range anyway.

What sort of change did you see to the power curve on the new injectors from the improved combustion Karl?
How much did the emissions change by?
Do you know if its made a significant difference to economy?

Reduction in HC is most noticable effect.
In driving terms the idle sounds cleaner, and drives slightly smoother than when running greys even with identical mapped conditions.
In terms of on boost no change in power as emissions on boost are more dependant on spark quality than injector atomisiation.

Go back to 2000-2001 and everyone was denying anything more than RS500 spec was possible without the worst powerband ever, cost 80 buzzilion quid, and last all of 10seconds.
And now we all running GT35s and 1000cc injectors like theres no tomorrow
