got a set that will be getting refurbished asap but want to know what tyres to put on it and how much hassle am i gonna get putting them on?

 

I've seen some black ones that looked good. Think they were some type of rubber.

got a set here with 205/45/16 tyres, looks odd, so could do with being a bit wider IMO

 

The problem you'll have is that Esc Cos rims are ET25, so will stick out so far, especially when running 225 width tyres.

Coupled to the fact that they look shit, it's not a great combination.

 

205-45-16 are the best bet. seen them with 195-40-16, they looked like the tyre was only half on the rim
215's are a bit more hassle so 205-45's are a good medium!

 

im running 205/45's on my esc cos rims on tha sapp

 

i would recommend 215/40/16's . anything less could be dangerous IMO from what i have been told.be prepared for archwork though.

yeh saw ya thread bud-weis. looks very nice. ive stuck them on to see what like. they need refurbishing and new tyres. there 215/40/16's but i think im gonna put 205/40/16's on it. They are rubbing at the back but i only wanted to see what they look like. i will be rolling the arches as im gonna be putting comp 17" on them when i have my new engine done etc to have the silly big brakes behind
