he was leaving a house that was on an address in one of the rusksacks that failed to go off? what did the real bombers do? steal his gas bills??? it still smells funny that he is totally innocent

i cant be arsed to read the thread but i heard the guy shared a flat with 1 of the bombers ? if thats the case and he was told to stop by armed officers after they had survilence on him and he didnt tough shit deserved it if i was the copper in that situation id of gunned him down aswell

ok he got shot, we don't know the full story, the police did what they thought was best in the circumstances. I don't believe that they would just go about shooting people for a laugh so in the heat of the moment judgements were made.

The guy had been here 3 years and was an electrician so chances are he understood english fairly well, presumably the police would of known this so any non co-operation from him when shouting at him who they were and what they wanted him to do would of been highly suspicious from their point of view.
The guy originated from a slum in sao paulo and if anyones seen/knows how it works out there will understand if a copper, plain clothed or not, confronts you with a gun screaming at you to stop you run like fuck cause the chances are your going to get shot innocent or not!
So its a bit difficult to call it from both sides of the story, the police did what was right from their point of view, and the brazilian guy did what came natural when confronted by a copper with a gun, run like fuck, which obviously led to fatal mix up by both parties.
The only good thing to come from this is how on the ball the police are and the message it sends to any potential bombers, that the police are clued up and arent affraid to use lethal force to protect the masses

Ok so the guy was innocent of what??? No one has actually said he hasn't done/conspired/whatever.
The police were monitoring him for a reason. And when ask to stop why did he run?
Loss of life of any kind is tragic and IMO all this tabloid coverage is just awful, and in very poor taste.
They chased and shot him, like he ran for a reason, and untill we know more its pointless speculating
