Default relocation packages (work)

anyone had one and done it before?

goign through one at mo... in my contract it says allowance for soft furnishings (few grand)

I can't find any policies at work on it. but I have to provide receipts.

anyone take some good guess at what it will cover?
(carpets? which I dont need :? frilly fooking cushions or curtain tassles? :cry: :? :? )

Yeh thats going to be curtains, carpets, bedding, duvets, rugs, lampshades, little side tables with frilly little doillies on them etc etc lol

I don't know if you'd get stuff like sofas etc in there....as I don't think, although they are soft, they are quite soft enough...lol

anyone know any sites to get mega bling doillies from then???

I reckon I should be able to use it for anything remotely house related!! I need an engine crane surely that can be a softfurnishing? I could hang my coat on it in the front room?!

I would have thought that it would be only for carpets curtains etc, that wont fit from one house to the next.

I would check very carefully before you spend.

bugger off that's lewis with his farmers accent!!

anyway!! get with the programme... soft furnishings what can I blag?

reckon I can use it to buy some curtains made from the shavings of pamela andersons pubic regions? wonder if an ebay receipt will count?

yeah I was thinking stuff that won't swap from one house to the next... so should be alright for tins of paint and stuff as I aint scrapping the stuff off the walls!
