alright mate
i have just come back from there. i went for 5 days last weekend with my best mate. its so good we are saving up to go and and live and work there for a year next year. dont expect a nightlife like here as its all bars with hardly any night clubs. there is a bar called tonic in times sqaure which was good. your girlfriend might want to see macys which is the worlds biggest shop, thats opposite maddison sqaure garden. other than that its the usual sights. have a good time mate.

I went for a long weekend in March. Very cool city with lots to do.

I would recommend a trip up the Empire State building, it took a while to queue for the turbo lift lol, but once your in it, it takes seconds to get to the top and the view is breathtaking. As is the view of the New York skyline from the harbour. Statin Island is interesting if you take a boat trip.

If shoppings your thing then New Yorks your city, but dont get caught out and try and shop early doors,cos they dont open till 10! Bloomingdales and other big stores in the area have some cool stuff but are still quite expensive. Macys had the best bargains. You should try out some of the delis as well, even if its just for the pure New Yorkness of it all!

Central Park will prob go down well with ya missus its very picturesque! just watch out for the never ending stream of cyclists and skaters!

The subway was an experience as well. And while your on it, you should have a browse round Grand Central station, its huge! The Oyster bar is highly recomended, but i didnt go in as they had a picket line at the time and i werent gonna cross it

theres loads to do fella, you wont be bored!

Be warned that most places in NY are very quiet until at least 10pm as they stay open all night!! A group of us turn up at kennys at 9.00pm, we were the only peeps in there, we almost left but hung around, by midnight you could barely move in the place!!LOL

I've been to NYC!! as a matter of fact, I'm there now!! LOL!!! hahaha. I don't mind a phone call mate!! Nightclubs aren't like they used to be, but they are still around if you know where to look! Pick up a time out NYC and have a look through it. Or you can always send me a pm or an email and we can meet up
