Proof that not every car i travel in dies.....
apart from my escort (blew up)
Nova (breaks every day)
astra (alternator went 500yards down the road)
the EVO8 FQ400 i went in last night survived!!!!!
but my underwear did not and had to sacrificialy burn them when i got home!!!
nice car BUT i kept thinking to myself....if i had 50k to spend on a car, it wouldn't be one of these buggers!!!!
what was nice was the sat nav that was on the screen that came out of the stereo!!!! personally i would have put the screen flat and used it as a very expensive cup holder....but i'm sure it appeals to some!!!
and the 3 year, if it breaks we replace warranty must be nice!!
i rang the ford garage to ask wether the warranty on my S1 had run out and if not, if they can replace everything!!

I've not been out in one yet, but a 400bhp EVO with a factory warranty seems like a pretty good deal to me.
I'd imagine round track they are staggeringly fast.........
I wouldn't buy one if I had the money, as some sort of Porsche would be entering into the equation...........

I had a test drive in an FQ400 and was underwhelmed compared to other 400hp modded EVOs I have tried but the 3 yr warrenty makes it an attractive proposition in some ways but at Ł47k you could get a new FQ300 then 2.3 it and still have change for an FQ260 for day to day use.

Now you see why i couldnt be fooked to drive my RST last night when its either drive that, or get a lift in my mates EVO

first show for 2 years Would have liked to have driven the RS mate, but intermittent clutch problems ruled that out Soon to be sorted..
Chuffed ya car was going well Max as you deserve some luck with RS's... unlike Keith

cheers mate. About time one of my cars stayed on the road for more than a few weeks without breaking something
Keiths will be on the road very soon. He should have all the bits now so It's just a matter of bolting it all together again

always liked evo's, nearly brought one before the escos.
one problem with them. mitsubishi keep bring out new models. so the second hand price is crap you'll never find a 10 year old evo worth 15k. buy a escos they hold there money
