just wondered if any one from around the west yorkshire area had ever heard of or ever bought a car from keighley preformance trade centre.
been looking at a few cars on there website and have some nice cars there and some reasonably priced for a garage anyway.just wondered if they had a good or bad rep.or they the same as most import companies all have there good and bad stories

I've been to look at a few cars there, all dogs! I've also heard of loads of dodgy stories, such as the company changing premises overnight, complete lack of after sales service etc. etc.

mate bought an impretza from there - was told it was standard and had full history - the history turned out to be forged and the engine went pop 400 miles later - had extra thick oil in it to hide a bottom end knock

i know someone who got a rx7 of them and touch would its been ok i think.he id have a problem with one of the turbos but this was fixed on warranty.
they have got a k plate sapphy in at the moment aswell

They have some proper cars but the reputation isnt good! Cars are all painted and filled up and all grey imports! Generally ragged too!

Your choice, but i'd pay more for a genuine car!

Dave old son, i wouldnt buy anything from them. I was very close to buying a Lexus Soarer from there as it seemed pretty decent.

But as i was stood there i saw 1 of thier guys bring out an Escort RS Turbo from round the back, he was having trouble starting it so he kept trying again and again. He eventually got it to turn and for about 2minutes he had his foot to the floor. Yes this is from cold!!!

once he let go the poor thing just fluctuated with its idling but then eventually settled down. The most worrying thing was though, that he went inside and out a Ł4000 price tag on it!!!!

Would you have bought that RST, i wouldnt have. And thats one of their better stories!

After they sell you something they aint gona really wana know after that.

Its your call mate as the CAR itself COULD be good, but the people and possibly the history of the car wont be so good!

just spoke to them just now about the cossie they have.guy said it was a trade in so they only have the receipts and info the guy gave them when trading in.
says its 135k and fsh and all mots etc.car does sound like its worth a look but the reputation isnt so good.
thing is someone mite have just got rid of a dog to them or they mite have traded in a good car for a dog told me there would be a 3months warranty but dunno where id stand if it did go bang
anyone who lives near there fancy looking at it if there bored this weekend

I nearly bought a car off them a couple of years ago, until some other guy turned up with a Poobaru on the back of a low loader having a tant because the car he bought the day before had thrown a big wobbly and they wouldnt do any work under warrenty claiming the new owner 'didnt take care of the car', the sales guy came across as an arse so i buggered off and spent my hard earned cash over several visits to lappy bars

PS - Its only 3/4 of an hours drive for me to there, it's 4 1/2 for you if things go tits up.
