If you ain't got a puller Steve, try tapping it of with a hammer, be careful though as it's soft as shite

On mine and Al's saphs I always carefully got the belt round the pulley without taking the pulley off, you have to be very, very careful not to pinch the belt though

Steve, I do hope Lee can remove that pulley..........

Phil2400 and I had the same problem on Cossieracers car (Shonkey) when we serviced it about 6 months ago.......The pulley had NEVER been removed before, so still on the orignal factory belt (therefore the cambelt was 9 years old ).......Phil did all the usual WD40/levering/tapping for about 40 mins - NO LUCK

Then he made up a puller and even with that it was a struggle......

had the same problem with my sons cosworth.

with the engine cold, we used a paint stripper heat gun to warm the pulley up then used a puller tool.
this worked very well for us.

All done - what an arse

By the time Lee (GurnE) came round, I had decided there was no way it was coming off without using the puller, so had taken out the rad ready to do that.

The puller bolt kept slipping on the head of the crank bolt, so I had to drill into that a bit, but it was easy enough with the puller. Had to use that all the way until the last 5mm or so though

Thanks Lee for helping hold stuff etc.

I'm gonna have a beer I think
