Default Bleeding S2 Brakes

Anyone able to offer some advice?

The car has een stood with the brake system dry for about 1month. Its had new calipers, enw wheel cylinders, and braided pipes.

Anyway, I set about bleeding the system, starting at the drivers rear, pass rear, drivers front then pass front.

Buuuut, after bleeding until theres no more air coming out, the pedal still goes to the floor under reasonable pressure. Although if you pump it quickly it builds up.

There are no leaks I can see around any of the new pipes/fittings...so thats ruled out.

Also, aside from the spongy pedal, when you release the pedal having depressed it, it sometimes sticks a bit and then "bangs" loose, (a little bang/click).

Any ideas?

Many thanks

Make sure you did them with all 4 wheels on the floor or the conpensators will mess it about

Also you have to do the front right and rear left together and the rear right and front left together as they are on the same line (split on the inside wing via a T piece)

Do you still have ABS?

Thanks

ABS is gone. I did them in the order above, so I guess I need to do each circuit at a time? (Front Left, Back Right etc).

Also someone pointed out I may have to remove the vacuum if any from the servo...?

Also it sound like to me that your rear drums could possibly be worn [have the drums and shoes been repalaced at all?]

I had a similar problem with the pedal going to the floor...turned out the internal diameter of the drum was two large....the first pump pushes the shoes out and the second pump pushes them onto the drum.

What do you mean the same?

If its new its obvioulsy ok....if not did you check the internal diameter to make sure its not past its max wear?
