God they do my shed in.

Been out in the car today to try and cure a missfire i had. Thats all sorted, and downpipe all welded up. On boost, car really holds back, so looks like knock sensor is being gay. Really could do with putting a series 1 Ecu on.

or you can put a resistor in and do away with the sensor

 

Or just unplug it and tape it up

 

Ryan - the knock sensor output is a waveform, so not sure if it will work. I thought of that years ago - but stu said it didnt work apparaently. Have u tried it?

You can, make sure however it isn't banging around the place. I meant take the sensor connected up out and place it elsewhere

 

James - u can't dissconect it - but i know what u mean about insulating it.

Adam - its the same sort of thing. The ECU's chipped?

 

i think i have 1 with a Sue Collins special in it and the other 2 are standard......
