After what happened today, and previous terrorist events in general, would you think twice about your safety whilst using public transport?
Previously I have never really considered the terrorist threats but after doing some thinking, using public transport (especially in London) must increase the odds of being a victim of such an attack massively.
Look at the evidence:
Todays attacks were on Underground trains and public busses,
Madrid bombings - public trains
9/11 - 3 public aeroplanes
IRA bombings - largely attempted on tube stations
Locherbie bombing etc..
Now driving to work in London may cost a little bit more, or getting a cab, but you never really see these attacked!

Same here. the threat has always been there i suppose. This just makes you think of it more. The thing that worries me more is that this could quite easily become a weekly or monthly occurence.

Not a chance.
Have you tried driving and parking in Central London. Its horrendously explensive.
Tube really is the ONLY way to get around this great city
PLUS all these pedestrians keep leaping in front of you just as you put your foot down a bit.
I'll keep to the trains, both over and under ground services.

However with the Sepetember 11, 2001 Airplane Attacks they amount of fataitlites in the plans where very min compare to the Amount of fatalities at the twin towers.
