Default WHAT PROGRAM TO COPY A COPYWRITED CD

As title, need to make a "backup" of Battlefield 1942, but the fookers copywrited so Clone CD or Nero wont burn it, is there a burner that can burn copywrited cd's?

Alcohol 120% will do it, clone cd should of as well. If I remember rightly it uses safedisk2 protection.

Take note that even after you've burnt the backup it may not work because some cd-rom drives are fussy and have trouble with protected stuff.

I had that very problem, it would read the backup using the cd drive in my sons but not in mine.

Best thing to do is install alcohol, store the disc as an image then use alcohol to create a virtual drive and mount the image on the virtual drive. It will always think it has the battlefield 1942 cd in a drive and will load it in no problem.

Yep best idea! you can use alcohol or i use daemon tools to do it

depends on your CDR drive to be honest, some physically cant burn a copy protected disk... some can...

i know mine cant...

look on the cloneCD website or www.gamecopyworld.com to find out if your CDR is able to burn safedisk2 stuff...

oh and cloneCD + CloneXXL should be able to do it no problem, so if it dont work your drive's probably naff...
