I tried to get it but Compomotive said as its wheels are powder coated, so they cant match it
So painted mine black instead.

I no its not a compomotive wheel but these were hand painted mate, & the colour wasnt far off anthracite.
Dont ask what colours he used, because i aint got a clue
All i no is that there was different shades of grey to make up the colour

 

The sales bloke was in the same situ at Compomotive, he had scuffed his rims n couldnt find anything to match, said he had tried loads of colours, but none were close enough. Told me he would email me if he sorted it but never has, maybe worth a phone call still.

 

hmm seems that ill be going trough a lot of different colorsheets to find me a nice color LOL

 

Philloy painted his wheels on his Subaru & he used a Suzuki motorbike colour, they look quite smart

 

hmm well i got some pics from tiffany's car saved here so i might as well just bring the laptop and show the painter LOL

 

i did mine in renault pluton grey
might be a bit dark for your liking though!

Ok lads............Tips on spraying your wheels??

Do you have to use a specific primer, paint & lacquer etc?

Could be a cheaper option that buying a new set!!

Same as Me, when I was there I brought back my comp mo's wheels but had to inspect them, one wheel had a small chip in it, I called Comp, but since they powder coat them they said to ship it back and they would do it over for free...but I was leaving the next day!

 

So any hints, tips on painting wheels?!?!?!
