Default FAO the mighty computer boffins..... (storage devices)

Right I need something to take all my shite off the family pc and onto some sort of external sotrage device. And thats like 18 gigs worth of music, about 10 gigs worth of photos and a few other bits and bobs. So need something with quite a bit of storage space on it.

perferably something I can just plug into the USB port on the front of the pc and move it all over to.

What do you guys recommend?

Any one of the usb hard drives that are available these days should do.

18Gb is not a lot so you should be able to pick something up quite cheaply.

Be careful to check their USB requirements though, if your pc is old, it may not support USB 2.0 which most of these drives need

You've clearly got money to burn then PC world is about the most expensive place in the world.

I'd get it from dabs or eBuyer and wait for it to turn up on monday personally

Dont use flea bay very often, usually only for the rare car bits I want, but thats about it.

I definately dont trust em for electical stuff....

Besides I also need something to back up the fordsport site on properly so if my PC goes tit up I dont loose all my templates and things.
