Tony, I prefer the Gartrac G6 shape (Mk4 base shell), owned a couple....RWD and 4WD

Just seen this on rally used parts........sorry no pic

Mk3 escort R.W.D *BRAND NEW * shell, still in the ford factory primer and was built by genesis engineering. The shell is unarched so can be used as a road rally car or stage car. The spec of the car is to full gp 4 to very high standard, it is 5 linked, turreted, large gear box and diff tunnels, the boot compartment is fire walled, anti roll bar and compression strut brackets are fitted. NEW 12 point s/d cage with shaped door bars, steering column, bonnet, boot, doors, all glass and loom are supplied, the car has been built to take all MK2 running gear, narrow atlas with shafts available.

the white one looks like it had twin exhausts at some time in its life , makes me wonder if it use to have a 2.8 crapi lump , or even a v8 ?

The white one had a 3.0l V6 engine in it a few years back but was removed when a small fire broke out under on the off side front area ,

Thn it was bought and put in a body shop where the arches and remedial work was carried out , then sold and a XE lump put in ( very badly )

Then it was sold again

and is now sat in my workshop

With a special little something under the bonnet

You wouldn't happened to have stuck a Zetec turbo lump in it have you - or is it a YB?

EDIT: Just seen the pics - awesome stuff mate! Is that out of the mk4 Escy?

Cheers,

Andy

Hello Mate

Yes i did the manifold but wouldnt like to do another ,

Silver one is still as it looked a month ago , waiting on a rear quarter to come in so i can finish the body off , then ill get the rest built up , want to take my time as its gonna be a mint road car , i think my track car will be broken to finish the pair of them , theirs no point having 3 big power cars , or having 3 cars all running similar trick bits , breaking the track car ill use 95% of it and save myself about Ł10,000 in bits

finished off the exhaust manifold today and the external wastegate

theyre off a S1

spaced off about 3 inch and then filled and blended in ,

But they have been filled with a foam based stuff then skimmed over , not 3 ton of boggy

Theyre actually very well done but im going to do some extra wide sills to finish it all off
