you buy an amal valve (which youve probably already got one) and you buy some carb jets from the motorfactors for about 10p each ![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
then you just need to understand the fundementals behind boost control and bleed valve, so best just to get it done by a pro imho (mistakes can be fatal to the engine)

Can be found on many Saab Turbo, perhaps cheaper as well but dunno if the jet size is the same.

As I remember it ;
Drill a 3 mm hole in the airbox takeoff, and in the jet located in the takeoff on the amal valve that goes to the air box.
The hole in the air box on my saff was almost 3 mm (maybe somebody had played with it)
When I tried to bore the jet in the amal valve to 3 mm the jet came out of the amal vale ( talking about the takeoff that connects via a hose to the airbox).
So I ended up putting the hose back on without the jet ......
It helped hesetation a bit!
Now I have an amal valve jet in my ashtry![Smile](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Cheers Kennert

Indeed! the Saab one is identical in operation, but only has one jet fitted in the compressor connection stub - take the jets out of your existing one and fit in the replacement. The Saab valve has a much better connector than the Ford one, moulded into the top of the valve, so won't suffer from the terminals going loose and breaking the internal connections, which is what happens with the ford one..
The Saab part has a number on - 7517477 - if that's any help.
