Default boost and water preasure

does anybody know if boost preasure can get into the water system through the head gasket . Some bloke from PJ MOTORSPORT told me this happens alot he said that there is a boost hole near the water holes on the head gasket that goes all the time can anybody verify this and has anybody got a picture of this so i can check this out as car still over heating badly cheers mick

you arent going to be able to tell without taking the head off really and looking at the gasket.

try a leakdown test though i guess?

It happens. It happened to me. I bought the car like that. It run perfectly fine apart form blowing parts of cooling system.

it keeps blowing lots of preasure out of the header tank cap . R THE CAPS OK TO R-USE AFTER THIS OR SHOULD IT BE REPLACED CHEERS MICK

sounds like a fooked head gasket best get it off and have a look.

if you use a multi layer metal gasket i would get both the block and head licked at the machine shop or there is a good chance it wont seal.

Yep, generally steel gaskets need block decking (or whatever is this called)
