Default MAP Sensor voltages

Does anyone have a look up table of 2 and 3 bar map sensors, MAP vs voltage?

0.25v min
4.75v max for both

3bar is 3.08bar at max
2bar is 2.16bar at max.

This is for your mf2 isn`t it?
I think they are quite good but would frustate me not knowing the complete picture an ecu will give.

Pricewise they are very competive, hopeing to selll my ecu for that price but with features such as boost control etc.

Is that 2.5 bar refering to the 2.16Bar ?
The 2 bar sensor will actuallly read to 2.16 bar - not many people know that (more is possible but not recomended as it is inaccuratefrom there onwards)

Tim - thanks for that - thought the voltages were a little funny

Yes it is. I would defo prefer full management, but it's not an option for me at the moment

I need the voltages for data logging. Have u got the voltages for the 2.5bar sensor? I assume it's off small turbo escos.

For those who dont know and may be confused.....

Dont forget these pressure values quoted are absolute and NOT relative to atmosphere.

I.E 2.5 bar is actually 1.5 bar boost and 1.0 bar atmosperic pressure

How accurate/linear are these sensors? Seems to conflict a little with the gauge

Rick, gauges are in accurate and are open to miss interpretation.

Also, these electronic map sensors are accurate enough to do the job (not very in real terms !)

Also, dont forget, air temperature changes the pressure reading slightly.
This is one reason why turbo cars have a charge air temperature sensor to provide compensation
due to the turbo heating up the air when on boost.

The gauge has been checked against calibrated job, so that should be good. I think i may create a look up table
