Hi Guys,
After some Pics of 2wd Cossie Engines prior to installation...... As some of you know, I took mine about about eight months ago, and am about to refit it now Karls had a fiddle with it
..... Just want to look at some pics, to see where all the brackets/fitting go, as I'm damned if i can remember all of them. Just spent a week cleaning, sandblasting, and coating just about everything, and now I realized I can't remember where half of the damned things go...
And of course after some ideas as to how to make it look the bizzzz, without going over the top...... Sorry, not a chrome addict. Any pics greatly appreciated.
Jim

Can you put the engine in with most of the ancillaries bolted on ????? Alternator, turbo, manifolds, power steering pump etc. Is there anything you need to leave off until the engine is in situ

Says in manual you need to take grill of ect but I didn't, you can put engine in with everything accept the starter motor and alternator (you can but it's a pain)
My power steering pump was left in situ as i didn't want to have to bleed it again ect
Apart from that it's pretty straight forward, the worst bit is getting it lined up to the gearbox!

Tks Smidsy,
Took it all out myself with no problems, but couldn't remember if I took it out with the Power Steering Pump on or not.
Know what you mean about lining up the splines on the gearbox output shaft and flywheel/clutch, dreading it, but looking forward to it at the same time.
Cheers Again
