I done exactly the same break when i used to play roller-hockey 
about 8 years ago
was told i could never ride a bike again or play hockey
broke it twice more too, only the wrist tho..... my left arm is fooked.... BEEEEEP at the airport
cant wear a watch now either, just feels "wrong"
have rode bikes but not for long, does get painful
my own fookin fault too

My mate broke his Tibia and Fibia racing Motocross last weekend
That looked much worst than that
We were all cheering him up as they loaded him into the St Johns Ambulance
He is already full of titianium plates and rods through bike accidents
My mate turned round to him and said
"If you die can i weight you in for scrap"
Fookin pissed myself watching him laugh as it turned out he,d broke 3 ribs aswell
Who needs enemy,s with freinds like us
That looked much worst than that

Comedy value has to be when someone says 'Grab the board!' and the dude with the fucked arm was about to volunteer to pick it up lol
There was some skater fool in A&E AFTER me when i got stabbed and went for stitches, I said to the nurse i want the dude to go first with the arm cos it was fucked, stitches can wait, a broken lower arm in FOUR places must bloody hurt, he was white as a sheet staring at me

my leg was worse than that, my foot was dislocated, and one of the bones twisted and shattered, so my foot was proper pointing the wrong way!! i was fine, but my mates were almost sick!
broken loads of stuff, arms, legs, wrists etc etc, the shock value starts to wear off and its just like "balls, off the hospital again"

ya i think i could be in your club an all stu! snapped my leg and my foot was pointing the wrong fooking way. 
a year later ended up in a car crash snapped both bones in my arm, there now full of titainium-fracterd my skull in 2 places wit a 2 inch scar on my forehead-broke 4 ribs and they went straight through my lungs puncturing them both.died 3 times in hospital then ended up in a coma! when i woke up i was told i would not walk or talk again.and all that for getting a lift home off a mate. im on first name terms wi hospitals in my area

I was a bit like that when I saw my finger after I fell off a monkey bike!
I was rubbing down my knees, looked at my finger and wondered why the tip of my left index finger was pointing at 90 degrees to the rest of my finger... the wrong way!
I was fine until I started to try and pull it back straight, then I had to sit down
