Default Two annoying electrical problems

1) when I use the front squirters on windscreen the rear one squirts too . Surely this isn't how it was designed. I can easily unplug the pump to the rear but I wouldn't mind a proper fix.

2) Sometimes(its becoming moore often) when i press the boot release button inside I hear the solenoid move but it doesn't release fully. The light for the rear heated screen comes on the Dash too

On the second one, is it usually the wiring on the joint of the hatch thats got squashed and worn over time. Has anyone ever replace any off it.

if both jets are squirting it the pump thats fooked, it has 2 nrv insode , the pump runs one way and blocks one port off, when th epolarity is reversed, it runs the other way and block the opposite port off,

could cure it my pulling it out (under the passenger arch liner at the front) and run some water through it as it may just be a bit of crap that is stuck inside it.
