Dave, have you got the grp a engine manual?, it has the remote oil filter in that. If you haven't, send me your email address and I'll send the pdf over.

cheers paul.. spot on
Rich.. ideally id like to run the remote housing, but also use it to feed the turbo for oil, and to fit the oil pressure switch to aswell!
how does it fit to the block rich?

Dave,
I must be honest, I have never seen a Group A one in the flesh, but like Tim suggests, they probably are a fortune. I also presume that all the oil feeds are from one place for ease of fixing/strip down etc etc........
As for mine, I use an adaptor on the side of the block where the modine would normally go, and run to the remote from there. Obviously, it depends what you want to keep on your car re: water/oil heat exchanger etc etc
My old remote take off setup used things slightly differently, but the principles are all the same.
For example, my take off from the block:

Dave, I would use something like Rich has and then have a manifold knocked up to run the turbo feed and also any temp and pressure switches off. You only need a block of ally machined and tapped for the right sized holes. You could even have it anodised blue or red to match the quip fittings.

Also speak to Nomad as I used a small one when I added a Oil pressure gauge to the RST. Like this but with just one hole. You could have a two or three put in.

Check out the Demon Tweeks catalogue for reference or even Think as they do a load of Mocal stuff. They may have these on the shelf. I think they just call them adapters. It would look a bit gay but you could have a couple of single ones in a row one after the other. It would take up more room and there would be more joints which could leak. As Ranj said, all engineering shops could build one. I could do it with a mill and a lathe

aaah
check this Paul
![](http://www.thinkauto.com/images/rfh2.gif)
Takes filter with 3/4UNF thread, has 1/2BSPports with a recess for No 590 sealing ring. RFH2G takes 1"UNF and has 3/4BSP ports. Both 80 & 98mm diameter filters can be accommodated. Bosses are provided which may be tapped to provide for pressure gauge, oil feed take offs, etc. Left to right flow only. Material cast aluminium.

Dave,
Not sure why you'd want -6 for the oil feed pipe? it big isn't it?
As for the oil pipes from the remote filter, you can obviously have whatever size you want, as all the Mocal stuff is cut with a BSP thread....... hence the Blue adaptors in mine to adapt from BSP to JIC fittings. Mine are -10.
You can also buy in-line adaptors in quip to run NP and NPT fittings. I have that on my fuel pressure gauge:
