Default What member of PF.com runs the most boost?

Mine is only an ickle engine and runs a MAX of 25psi

Whats your max boost level that you run either on road or track etc..

Ran 2.7bar, just over 40psi in my old conversion but Neil at Carwise runs 2.8bar in his Saff think thats about 42psi.

Mine was mapped for 32psi, but we didnt really run it beyond 28psi.

Following on from what Gareth said, if you look at a compressor map for a turbo, the 'island' in the middle is meant to be the area of highest efficiency. So depending on the turbo, it will depend if the boost pressure you are looking at is in or close to the island. The further away you move the less efficient it becomes.

I would imagine as a very general rule of thumb, if you use bigger and bigger turbos the pressure for optimum efficiency gets higher, coz that is why they are big so they can work at higher boosts and air flow efficiently.

i dont kjnow to be honest,,, i didnt look into it that much

when spec'ing a turbo for an application you can do all the calculations you want and platting on different compressor maps but the only true way of spec'ing a turbo is trial and error

was ment to be 17psi.......but had an air leak and was 24psi...then turbo shat its internals out and is now turned down to 15psi till i get it set up again! in which im hopeing for around 18/20 on std compression too
